NEWPORT BEACH CITY EMPLOYEES FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
Member Privacy Policy
The Protection of our members’ privacy and the safekeeping of confidential information are of the utmost concern to the Credit union. As such, you can rely on our commitment to protect confidential information relating to you and your account. We have developed the following privacy policy and approach that respects and addresses your needs. We firmly believe that all personal information and financial information specific to you that you provide through any channel constitutes personal information.
Web Site Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy is taken very seriously by us and we want you to know that we will not sell information about you to any third party company or website.
PIN Security
Every member is responsible for protecting the secrecy of his or her PIN. You should never give this number to any unauthorized persons.
Encryption
Encryption is a technical term for scrambling meaningful text and numbers at one location and transmitting them across the Internet to another location. The encryption process uses complex algorithmic formulas to create a key that is used to translate the information back into useable content. There are billions of potential keys and a different key is used for each Active WebSite session. All confidential information sent to and requested by this site is encrypted. The credit union submits the account information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted network transmissions. This is extremely secure and the most compatible encryption for worldwide use.

The Credit Union makes every effort to supply accurate links to other sites, however these links may change from time to time. If you find any “non-working links”, we’d appreciate an e-mail at info@nbcefcu.com to advise us of the problem. The contents of the hyperlink website is not endorsed by the credit union. Any decisions made by the user about this site or other hyperlinks is the sole responsibility of the user.
